berkebun~

Assalamualykum?

May AllAh SWT bless u all  =)

Since I have nothing to do for the time being, thus I make myself busy with the house chores. Actually, it is external house chores.

Lawn mowing is the routine of my siblings and I when we are in our home-sweet-home. Or in other words, to see whether we are homed or not, just look at the grass. Personally, I am so glad to do so as it is the only thing that my mom put me in charged and have the full-authority to mow the grass. She will never interrupt it as she told me,

“it is men’s job. If I am a man, I would do it by myself, need not wait for you to act on it”

Did you realize that the amounts of dengue cases are rapidly increasing? And it is freaking scary!! Kindly refer to these articles below. DO take precaution and prevention steps ok...

ok.. let’s get back to my story. (as usual, lingering around the bushes… =P)

It's hard for my brother to get a leave. So, I let him to make full use of his leave to cut down the grass.

testimoni pil kurus???

And i? do other thing like, snapping photos!!

I just realize that some plants are flowering. Sometimes, I wish I am kind of expert at taking pictures with DSLR camera so that I can express how I am proud of my parents for their effort to make our home as beautiful as they can. (don't have to mention all the confusing data of Nikon or Canon or Sony or D90, D7000 or D3100 or D3000 or Alpha 50 and whatsoever) Bagan and Amirul try to persuade me to buy one but their effort is not fruitful till now. Hehe… sorry bro..

the "jantung pisang" has gone!!!

I learnt Silat since I was in Form 1. I learnt two chambers of Malays Silat, which were Silat Pewaris in SMKA Kuala Abang, Dungun and Silat Gayong, in KISAS. The exercise that I like the most is, pumping.

Can you see how passionate I am in pumping?

this is what we call "tanam lalang"

For the time being, mowing the grass would be my routine until I find another job that is more fruitful.

Wallahua'lam  =)

my BESTday of 2010~

what November means to me?

When the clock ticked to 12.00am, it means the 11st month, November has come. It is the month that I waited for in every year, the most meaningful month for me as I was born in that November, 20 years ago in Alor Star Hospital, Kedah.

Getting the number “2” for my age means a lot to me. It makes me think about what I should be, what I should do as a matured person. If Sultan Muhammad Al-Fateh opened the Constantinople when he was 21* (some say 24), I do believe I can’t beat him. Or at least be less than him. Because I am VERY FAR from him. He could memorise and understood the Muwata’, the kitab narrated by Imam Al-Ghazali when he was 6*. Don’t even think to ask me what I did when I was 6…

Making people recognize our presence in a positive way in the community is what I hope for. Just like Mr Syafiq from Co-curriculum  Unit in IPG Penang Campus said to me,

“don’t be like melukut di tepi gantang, biar kehadiran kita di sekolah dirasai dan kehilangan kita diratapi

When I visited Gajus Block on my birthday, the citizens did recognize me and greeted and wished me “happy 20th birthday!” I feel so happy to get the wishes and prayers from my friends face-to-face as the sincerity was there. I can read their eyes, detect their seriousness while facing them.

I still remembered what my senior said to me when she celebrated her birthday a few months before she took off to Sydney.

“Instead of waiting for people making us happy, why don’t we take the first step by making people happy?”

Agree with her and alhamdulilah, I managed to buy some cakes for my cohort members that had been served at the Farewell Lunch.

Tokens of appreciation for those who had generously given me presents… really appreciate it and glad to have it!

Biro TataNegara...

The absence of anware hadi at the sudden meeting with mr G had put me on “trouble”.  I had to replace his place to be fully in charge of that course especially for transportation. (as usual…fuuhh..) Ok, with a “willing” heart, I accepted that post and tried to think from the positive perspective.

Since that was my second time of attending btn course, so I hoped it would be much better than what I have gone through. My  first btn course was held at 2009, at ulu kernas, kuala kangsar, perak and it was focusing on physical activities. However, this one was focusing on theories as we were specifically being exposed to our constitutions.

Just ask us about the social contract and all of us can answer you immediately and precisely!
Perkara 3 - Agama Islam sebagai agama persekutuan (bukan agama rasmi ok…)
Perkara 14 and 15- Perolehan kewarganegaraan
Perkara 152 – Bahasa Melayu sebagai bahasa rasmi
Perkara 153 – Hak istimewa bumiputra dan hak-hak sah kaum-kaum lain
Perkara 181 – Kedaulatan raja-raja Melayu (ketuanan Melayu)

What I dissatisfied with this time btn course is, this course had been an exam orientated course as the facilitators kept telling us that we need to focus the lectures otherwise we would surely fail our exam.  Yeah, it is good to remind us, but they should not set our mind to be exam orientated. Our government has taken various methods and ways to change our mentality as we are all going to be a real teacher soon. Thus, we should not make our students to focus on academic achievement only but a holistic development.

The abolishment of PMR and the establishment of new curriculum in 2011 which is Standard Curriculum for Primary School (KSSR) are some evidence showing how serious the government is in effort to change our generation mentality.

If you asked what my opinion is about the food provided, I would say my 1st btn course is better. In that course, all the participants were eating in groups and each group was provided with a “talam” compared to this btn course, we ate in our own tray. I found that eating in “talam” able to bond our relationship efficiently as all of us could laugh and communicate with no awkward at all in a very short time.

Hmm… this btn course had taught me a lot, not in a way I expected before, especially when it came to the “climax” session.  Firstly, that activity and the provocation that had been prepared was also exactly similar with what I have gone through before. So, I don’t blame myself for being over-confident about what I did at that night. It taught me on the aspect of confident, trust among our friends, our faith, responsibility and accountability. Yeah, we need to be responsible for what we had decided. Hence, I did prepared myself to redo this btn again as we were informed that we were all failed. Personally, I learnt that I should control my emotion in every situation. It is because, when our emotion is disturbed, we tended to make irrational decisions that will make us regret later.

Thank a lot to our penghulu, for his determination of asking forgiveness of the leader of facilitators, for our over and uncontrolled emotion. He saved us from repeating this btn again, as insyAllAh, all of us will be ok and none of us going to fail as what Abg Yap had announced in the closing ceremony.

Bye2 BTN Meru Camp!

abis exam~

First and foremost, I would like to apologise to all for the inconsistency of updating my blog. No other reason, just bad time management, that’s all… sorry…
For this post, actually, I have written it on the last day of my examination. But, due to laziness, tak ter-update plak… tp dah alang-alang tulis, kena update jugak rr kan? heehe~

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………

We had done our part, to learn and do as best as we can in both papers, English Language Teaching and Pedagogy. Though my final exam consists of two papers only, it might be the hardest ever examination for us.

Pedagogy…

DATE : NOVEMBER 1, 2010

VENUE : BILIK PERSIDANGAN

I am very dissatisfied with the time allocated for this paper. We need to answer 5 structures and 2 essays just in 2 hours? Tak sempat laa… x puas hati betol! When the pengawas peperiksaan announced, “you have another 30 minutes left…” Si anware hadi could make that “hissing” sound that made me feel so jealous of him. He must be at a very good position until he could think of making that sound at that moment! Envious betul! Huhu…

Next, I have been informed by my friends that the OZ’s marking scheme is not focusing on the quantity of our points but it is marked as an essay. I wish I know that info earlier so that I could do something with my writing skills. The essay questions were not as easy as I hoped, so I used the best oil to “goreng” the ideas…  :P

The best quotation for LL paper :

“This is the first time I could not sleep in examination.”

English Language Teaching…

DATE : NOVEMBER 2, 2010

VENUE : BLOK AKADEMIK

It was the last examination day. And at 5.05 pm, my friends and I stepped out from the examination room with undefined feelings. Everyone was busy comforting themselves. However, everyone was more cheerful than yesterday. Maybe because everybody was so excited to go back already, so we should not to think about the result yet. Just think about how we should feel when we meet with our friends.

On my part, I don’t know why I felt ELT paper was harder than LL paper.
However, I noticed that that girl could manage her time to sleep when I still struggling with the last essay…
 *envious!!!*

# looking forward for the result...  Hopefully, all of us could pass the examination…=)

Solat Menangis-nangis?

Lalu saya rasa anda bukan sahaja memahami maksudnya, tetapi anda FAHAM maksudnya. Macam manakah caranya saya nak menjadi macam mereka yang memahami?"

Dia menjawab, "Caranya ada banyak:

1. Siapkan Mental Semaksimumnya dengan Bersolat Sunat Sebelum Solat Fardu.
Sediakan hati anda sebelum menunaikan solat. Contohnya sebelum solat Isya, solat dua rakaat dahulu untuk pastikan hati anda merasai ruh al Quran sebelum bersolat yang fardu.

2. Selalu Membaca al Quran
a. Apabila anda membaca suatu ayat, bacanya berulang kali - cuba fahami sedalam-dalamnya ayat tersebut.

3. Baca tafsir al Quran

4. Menyedari Allah swt memanggil ANDA

5. Merasakan ayat tersebut Hidup
a. Ketika anda membaca ayat tentang syurga, bayangkan anda sedang DUDUK di dalam syurga, sambil melihat buah-buahan syurga, melihat warga-warga syurga serta menghidu wangi-wangian syurga.
b. Bayangkan api neraka! Bagaimanakah pula panasnya api Neraka nanti?

6. Doa: Sangat Penting

7. Qiamullail

8. Kurangkan dosa dan maksiat kepada Allah swt

9. Kerap kali mendengar al Quran
a. Apabila anda mendengar al Quran, fikirkan - mengapa qari tersebut membaca sesuatu ayat itu berulang-ulang? Mengapa dia menangis ketika membaca sesuatu ayat?

10. Letakkan Pengharapan kepada Allah swt
a. Allah swt TIDAK AKAN meninggalkan aku keseorangan.
